Rugged Connectors for Unmanned Systems

The Fischer UltiMate™ Series offers a wide variety of rugged connectors designed to withstand high levels of shock & vibration, temperature and corrosion. All UltiMate rugged connectors are sealed to IP68 (unmated) / IP69 (mated), feature 360^o EMC shielding and can withstand up to 10,000 mating cycles.

UltiMate™ rugged connectors are available in a variety of sizes with up to 42 contacts, and cable or panel mounting options.

Optical high performance – Fischer FiberOptic Series

Optical High Performance Connectors

Our FiberOptic Series is a pre-cabled solution designed for superior fibre optic performance even in extreme environments.  The optical connector’s robust design is easily cleaned in the field and is sealed to IP68 when mated, and IP67 when unmated.

Two configurations are available: a fiber-only design with one, two or four fibre optic channels, and a hybrid design that incorporates two optical channels and two electrical contacts.

High-density miniaturization – Fischer MiniMax™ Series

High Density Miniature Connectors

The Fischer MiniMax™ series is a high-density lightweight miniature connector system designed for mixed signals and power solutions where space-saving is a priority. These rugged, high-performance miniature connectors are available in two sizes (06 and 08) with combinations of up to 24 contacts.

The miniature connector circular design features IP68 sealing whether mated or unmated, retains performance for up to 5000 mating cycles, and is available in three latching systems: push-pull, screw lock and quick release.

Our Fischer Freedom™ Series and the Fischer LP360™ connector are designed for a wide variety of portable and body-worn applications within defense, security, industrial and civil engineering sectors. Easy to integrate and use, our compact Freedom™ military connectors reduce cognitive, weight and reliability burdens through the following features:

Fischer Rugged Flash Drive

Safe Storage of Sensitive Data

Our Rugged Flash Drive is a highly durable data storage and transportation solution designed to function in even the harshest environments. The modular design features IP68 sealing even when unmated, and resistance to extreme temperatures and shock & vibration. Our unique circular connector interface, available in UltiMate™ and MiniMax™ versions, provides data security in case of loss or theft.

The Rugged Flash Drive is available in sizes up to 256 GB and with maximum write speeds of up to 55 MB/s and maximum read speeds of up to 100 MB/s.

New as of September 2019: Fischer LP360™ Rugged Flash Drive with 360-degree mating and low profile & cantilever for enhanced mechanical robustness.
