YellowScan has confirmed that Fischer Connectors has signed on as a sponsor of the LiDAR for Drone 2022 conference taking place in Montpellier, France.

Fischer Connectors has been one of YellowScan’s legacy connectivity partners, dating back to the first LiDAR system YellowScan commercialized. The YellowScan Mapper UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) LiDAR solution uses Fischer MiniMax connectors for its power, LiveStation and camera ports. These connectors were chosen by YellowScan’s technical team to meet specific requirements in terms of light weight, small footprint, rugged material, high pin density, EMI/RFI protection and impedance.

LiDAR for Drone provides an opportunity for members of the YellowScan ecosystem to discuss the latest developments in LiDAR technologies, share experiences and meet with customers, partners and distributors. Attendees will gain insight into the LiDAR industry and hear from interesting and innovative LiDAR users thanks to the extensive program of technical sessions, work-shops, live demos and training. The many networking opportunities will also give attendees a chance to showcase their involvement in the LiDAR market. This year’s conference will be particularly notable, as YellowScan will be celebrating its 10th anniversary.

Guy Lacroix, Director of Fischer Connectors France, commented: “Our high-performance connectivity solutions are tailored to applications requiring faultless precision, quality and durability in demanding operating environments such as defense & security, medical, test & measurement and unmanned systems. Fischer Connectors’ experts look forward to showing the participants of the conference how miniature, rugged and sealed interconnects can enhance the data and power performances and functionalities of UAVs and LiDAR technologies.”
