The Maverick M3 is a U.S.-manufactured, NDAA-compliant smart battery designed for heavy-lift UAVs carrying demanding commercial or tactical payloads. High-energy Amprius cells in a 20S3P configuration provide 44.4 Ah of capacity and 3125 Wh of energy at a nominal voltage of 70.4 V. The pack delivers 220 A continuously and up to 355 A peak.
An integrated battery management system incorporates DroneCAN for smart interface controls and direct CAN communication with the charger. Thermal management utilizes six NTC thermistors to monitor the thermal loads associated with heavy-lift operations.
The sealed aluminum enclosure provides environmental protection and rugged durability, with compression-optimized cell arrangements to help maintain structural integrity. ACES or Molex power connectors are available.
