The AUV CTD from D-2 Incorporated provides a precise and rugged sensing solution for conductivity, temperature, and depth measurements in uncrewed platforms including AUVs, UUVs, USVs, ROVs, and profiling floats. Its compact Delrin housing and oil-filled conductivity cell deliver long-term resilience in extreme ocean environments while maintaining low power consumption. Designed around D-2’s hybrid conductivity cell, the system provides closed-field precision without a pump, resulting in silent operation and significantly reduced electrical demand.

The sensor supports standard high-speed acquisition up to 32 Hz and an ultra-low-power mode consuming just 4 mA at 10 VDC with a 2 Hz rate. This flexibility allows deployment across a broad range of autonomous platforms, from deep-rated vehicles to lightweight gliders. Real-time RS-232 output, internal memory, and customizable fittings ensure rapid integration with existing mounts and systems. Combined with fast calibration turnaround times and robust environmental performance, the AUV CTD offers a dependable and adaptable option for advanced marine data collection.
