BlueBird Aero Systems’ SpyX is a revolutionary loitering UAS platform that offers up to 2 hours of autonomous mission time and an operational range of 50 km. Designed for precision strikes, it is highly transportable and can be tightly integrated with BlueBird VTOL UAS for the utmost in tactical superiority.
The complete system can be deployed and operated by a crew of two soldiers, enabling them to conduct an automatic launch, navigate along pre-selected waypoints, arm and disarm the system, manually select the target, command a guided attack, and abort or wave-off if necessary.
The UAS can be equipped with up to 2.5 kg of warheads, including anti-personnel and light vehicle and anti-tank. An advanced dual EO/IR sensor allows operators to lock on to the target or on predefined coordinates, and estimated hit points can be quickly adjusted by moving the crosshair mark.
