The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has purchased Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) from TEKEVER following a rigorous validation, testing, and training programme conducted across multiple flight locations.
Designed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) tasks in demanding operational settings, the highly deployable platform combines a modular airframe, mission-specific payloads, communications, and AI-enabled mission software into an integrated autonomous intelligence ecosystem. Although the acquisition marks a key adoption by US defense forces, the specific quantity, platform models, and equipment configurations involved have not been publicly disclosed.
Ricardo Mendes, CEO of TEKEVER, said, “This procurement represents an important milestone in a relationship that has been built over time through rigorous testing, open dialogue and a clear focus on delivering effective capability. We greatly value the professionalism and engagement of the USSOCOM personnel with whom we have worked, and look forward to continuing to support their evolving requirements.”
Central to the company’s deployment strategy is a vertically integrated engineering and operational model that spans development, manufacturing, AI software, and sustainment. By gathering real-world data and user feedback across each flight cycle, the system supports a continuous iteration loop, enabling hardware and software configurations to adapt rapidly to changing mission requirements.
The procurement also highlights TEKEVER’s expanding footprint within the US defence sector, supported by the company’s operational base in Fayetteville, North Carolina, dedicated to engaging domestic security and special operations customers.
