Lowental Hybrid will present its Native Parallel Hybrid propulsion systems for tactical unmanned aerial vehicles and loitering munitions at the upcoming AUSA 2026 exposition in Washington, D.C.
The company’s showcase at the Israel National Pavilion comes as defense forces seek practical solutions to give smaller unmanned platforms greater endurance, range, and operational flexibility without sacrificing their core tactical advantages.
Lowental Hybrid’s propulsion technology combines an internal combustion engine and electric propulsion on a shared drivetrain. This architecture allows platforms to use electric power when low acoustic and thermal signatures are required, combustion power for extended range, and combined hybrid operation when additional energy or flight power is needed.
Ahead of the exhibition, the company completed heavy-fuel testing on its LH-01 propulsion system, advancing its work toward U.S. military and Navy requirements while supporting compatibility with standard military fuel logistics.
According to CEO Doron Fridman, the system is designed to bring performance associated with larger Group 3 systems to lighter Group 2 platforms, giving these smaller platforms greater capability while maintaining their tactical advantages.
Alongside the LH-01, Lowental Hybrid will display its broader line of hybrid propulsion solutions for Group 2-3 platforms in Hall A, Booth 739 during the event taking place October 12-14, 2026.
