ISS Aerospace has joined Make UK Defence to reinforce its ongoing commitment to designing, manufacturing, and supporting uncrewed systems within the United Kingdom alongside local partners.
The company currently manufactures and operates the Sensus range of uncrewed aerial and ground systems, as well as the ISSOS WASP and the HAL10 Launcher, built on British engineering capabilities and local supplier capacity. Facing a rising demand for uncrewed platforms, the developer aims to secure its domestic manufacturing foundation through supply chain partnerships structured for long-term growth rather than individual orders.
Make UK Defence functions as an industry voice, connecting manufacturers, prime contractors, small and medium enterprise partners, parliamentarians, and the Ministry of Defence. As part of its membership, ISS Aerospace plans to invest early in British suppliers across the uncrewed systems supply chain, collaborate with primes to shift developmental capabilities into volume production, support engineering skills in local communities, and advocate for sovereign UK manufacturing investment.
