Quadsat showcased its airborne Radio Frequency (RF) detection and geolocation technology during a live demonstration at Scandinavia’s largest defense industry event.
During the demonstration on August 20 at DALO Industry Days 2026 in Herning, Denmark, Quadsat’s SpectraLoc payload successfully detected radar emissions from Karup Airport.
The demonstration highlighted how RF activity can be detected from an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) platform and transformed into actionable electromagnetic intelligence, providing defense operators with increased situational and spectrum awareness.
Designed with a platform-agnostic approach, the SpectraLoc payload can be integrated across different unmanned aerial platforms depending on the operational environment, range, endurance, and specific mission requirements.
Quadsat exhibited the system alongside several unmanned aerial platforms, including the Skyeton Raybird, Wingcopter, and Upteko LARK. In cooperation with Rethink, the display also featured a Kratos unmanned aircraft, supporting discussions around unmanned systems and electronic warfare.

By deploying RF sensing capabilities on unmanned platforms, defense organizations can extend their detection reach while reducing dependency on large, centralized assets.
