MostaTech will present its latest inertial sensors at INTERGEO 2026 in Munich, Germany, from September 15 to 17.
The company will exhibit a range of ultra-compact Fiber Optic Gyroscopes (FOGs) developed for applications where installation space, weight, and power consumption are critical. Among these is the VG191A, a thumb-sized sensor measuring 24 mm in diameter and 40 mm in length that delivers 0.015°/√h Angle Random Walk (ARW) and 2°/h bias stability while consuming 0.5 W.
For applications requiring higher precision, the VG091A-4LN measures 24 mm in diameter and 52 mm in length and achieves 0.01°/√h ARW and 1°/h bias stability. Both gyroscopes feature integrated optics and electronics within a μ-metal housing, providing enhanced immunity to magnetic interference. Their compact cylindrical designs are suited to applications including pipeline inspection, underground utility mapping, and borehole surveying.
MostaTech will also present the VG2103S-3000, a FOG engineered for operation under severe mechanical and environmental conditions. The sensor withstands shocks of up to 3000 g and vibrations up to 18 g RMS, and is available in versions operating from −60°C to +125°C. It delivers 0.03°/√h ARW and 1°/h bias stability.
Also on display will be the G321M, MostaTech’s latest three-axis FOG. Measuring 53 × 53 × 36 mm, the sensor integrates three single-axis FOGs with a three-channel ADC board and an RS422 interface providing an 8 kHz output rate. It delivers 1°/h bias stability and 0.025°/√h ARW, while built-in magnetic shielding supports stable operation in electromagnetically disturbed environments. The G321M weighs 145 g and consumes 2 W.
The exhibit will also feature the VG221, described by MostaTech as the world’s smallest commercially available fiber optic gyroscope, measuring Ø33 × 12 mm. It will be shown alongside the compact U121D and cylindrical U123D FOG Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs).
