Akku Vision is a specialist developer of high-performance rechargeable batteries and battery management systems for industrial drones, robotics, and autonomous mobile platforms.
Unmanned Systems Technology (UST) is pleased to announce the addition of Akku Vision to our global supplier ecosystem. Their new supplier profile showcases a range of German-designed and manufactured rechargeable battery solutions for industrial drones, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and other electrically-powered unmanned systems.
The company’s portfolio is based around FUSIONe, a family of portable 48 V battery systems designed to provide flexible and scalable energy storage. A modular architecture enables multiple batteries with the same voltage and communication interface to be connected in parallel, allowing capacity to be increased as power requirements evolve. The batteries can be charged separately or in situ at up to 12 A per battery, with CAN communication provided as standard.
Key features and capabilities of Akku Vision’s battery solutions include:
Modular 48 V Energy Storage: FUSIONe batteries can be integrated into a wide range of robots, unmanned systems, and autonomous mobile platforms using a universal mounting system, with multiple units connected in parallel to increase capacity.
FUSIONe S NMC: The currently-available 48 V NMC battery provides 25 Ah / 1,170 Wh capacity in a 6.2 kg package and retains 70% remaining capacity after 1,000 charge cycles.
FUSIONe M LFP: Currently under development, this 48 V LFP model provides 20 Ah / 1,024 Wh capacity and is designed to retain 75% remaining capacity after 3,000 charge cycles.
Tested & Certified Technology: FUSIONe batteries have been tested according to standards including IP65 ingress protection and ISO 13849-1:2023-04 / ISO 13849-2:2012-10 Performance Level C, with certification including IEC 62133-2 and applicable UL standards.
Bespoke Battery Development: Akku Vision supports OEM customers from initial concepts and prototyping through to industrial engineering, testing, and production, with battery configuration, communication, mounting, charging, and system capacity adaptable to individual platform requirements.
Akku Vision develops and produces its battery products at a 5,000-square-meter in-house facility in Germany. Combining high-quality cells with in-house project planning, prototyping, testing, construction, and industrial engineering, the company can support both COTS requirements and customized battery development for unmanned and robotic platforms.
