Gotonomi will participate in a live flight demonstration at XPONENTIAL Europe 2026 at Messe Düsseldorf, Hall 1, Stand D11, with AIR6 Systems and Videosoft Global, showcasing long-range connectivity enabling Beyond Visual Line Of Sight (BVLOS) drone operations.
The demonstration will stream video and telemetry from a drone operating in Klagenfurt, Austria, while the aircraft is remotely controlled from Düsseldorf.
The interactive demonstration will take place during two sessions at the XPONENTIAL trade show:
- Session #1: Tuesday, 24 March 2026, 13:30 CET
- Session #2: Wednesday, 25 March 2026, 16:00 CET
Partnership Demonstration
The demonstration brings together technologies from AIR6 Systems, Gotonomi, and Videosoft Global. The AIR8 drone is paired with Gotonomi’s communications technology and Videosoft Global’s software to demonstrate long range connectivity for BVLOS operations, enabling real time video transmission across extended distances.
Key Technology
The system configuration used in the demonstration includes:
- AIR8 Medium Lifter with integrated Gotonomi Velaris Multi-link Module and 200-A Omni antenna
- Satellite and LTE communication link for control centre operated flights
- Low latency FPV video and telemetry streamed over a distance exceeding 1,000 km
Together, these components enable connectivity between the remotely operated drone and the control environment. The demonstration highlights scalable missions for industrial applications and task forces, including long range inspection, monitoring, reconnaissance, and logistics.
Attendees will observe live video and telemetry streamed from the AIR8 drone during the demonstration. The session will also include discussion covering the enabling technology used and practical use cases.
