Gotonomi, a leader in BVLOS satcom terminals, and Videosoft Global , specialists in ultra-low bandwidth video streaming, are Gold Sponsors of Barcelona Drone Days 2025, October 8–9, BCN Drone Center, Spain.
The two-day event will bring together UAV innovators, technology providers, regulators, and ANSPs for a full program of demonstrations and discussions.
Highlights include:
- Multi-vendor mission demo with AIR6 Systems and Volant, including SORA, payload integration, and live telemetry.
- Live UTM integration from Heron Airbridge, tracking UAVs over satcom during flight.
- Satcom 101 sessions with Viasat, Gotonomi, and Galaxy1, covering provisioning, LTE integration, and data usage.
- Regulatory insights and open Q&A with NATS and ENAIRE.
- Funding session with the European Space Agency (ESA) on the BASS programme.
- Product showcases from Wingtra and other UAV manufacturers.
At the event, Gotonomi’s Multilink terminal will be demonstrated in flight on an AIR6 SYSTEMS | AIRBORNE ROBOTICS platform, with live video transmission powered by Videosoft Global’s compression technology. The demonstration will show how an always-on communications link can be maintained for command and control (C2) data, airframe telemetry, and payload information such as video.
Gotonomi’s terminals are designed for optimized size, weight, power, and cost (SWaP-C) performance, supporting satellite and multilink communications across a wide variety of platforms. Operating on the Viasat Velaris L-Band network, they provide a secure 200 kbps connection for near-global communications between drone operators, uncrewed aircraft, and air traffic management/UTM systems.
Barcelona Drone Days provides a platform for leading innovators in the UAV sector, giving attendees the opportunity to engage with solution providers, platform partners, and ANSP stakeholders driving the future of UAV operations.
