Beyond Energy Innovation (BEI) Corp is set to expand its Anode-Free Lithium Metal Battery (AF-LMB) portfolio in 2026 through the introduction of three mission-focused product families, while transitioning toward standardized mass production.
The updated portfolio will deliver solutions focused on ultra-high energy density, extended operational lifetime and improved safety performance across defense unmanned systems, robotics, industrial equipment and emerging mobility sectors.
The three new product families will address distinct customer needs:
- Ultra-High Energy Density Series: Optimized for lightweight platforms and extended mission endurance
- High Durability Series: Engineered for long service life and repetitive duty cycles
- High Safety Series: Designed with enhanced thermal stability and system-level protection concepts
Since its early commercialization phase, BEI has concentrated on performance-driven pilot production programs carried out in collaboration with strategic customers. Starting in 2026, the company intends to gradually transition to standardized production platforms aimed at supporting higher volumes and wider customer adoption. This shift will be reflected in updated pricing policies aligned with improved cost efficiency and scalable supply capability.
Jaehee (Sweeney) Hwang, Chief Business Development Officer at BEI Corp, commented, “Expanding our product portfolio is not simply about increasing energy density. It represents the next step in our mission-ready battery strategy, balancing performance, durability, and safety to meet real operational requirements across critical applications.”
BEI is currently engaging with key customers and partners on evaluation programs for the upcoming portfolio. Detailed technical specifications, performance metrics, and pricing will be discussed directly with BEI’s commercial teams and through formal customer engagements.
