EIZO Rugged Solutions Inc. is releasing two new advanced XMC form factor video graphics and AI GPGPU Coprocessor cards built on NVIDIA RTX PRO™ 2000 and RTX PRO 500 Blackwell Generation GPUs.
The new Condor NVB2000xX and Condor NVB500xX are ideal for bringing real-time edge processing and embedded AI applications to existing CPU processors found in mission-critical environments.
These compact, low-SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power) solutions deliver AI Inference acceleration and video processing and display capabilities in a rugged XMC form factor, making them ideal for space-constrained platforms such as ISR pods, ground vehicles, and uncrewed aircraft. Both XMC modules support up to three DisplayPort++/DVI outputs as well as the latest generation NVENC and NVDEC Video Codec Engines, enabling high-resolution mission-critical video distribution and visualization.
The Condor NVB XMC series is built on NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, offering up to 8 GB of GDDR7 memory with ECC, support for PCI Express Gen 5, and features up to 3,328 CUDA cores, 5th Gen Tensor Cores, and 4th Gen RT Cores (depending on model). The NVIDIA RTX PRO GPUs bring significant performance enhancements in parallel processing, AI inferencing, and ray-traced rendering for advanced HPEC applications.
The NVIDIA Blackwell architecture enhances compute performance with next-generation CUDA cores, fifth-generation Tensor Cores, and fourth-generation RT cores, accelerating deep learning inference, computer vision, and sensor fusion workloads while maintaining power efficiency in deployed systems.
Christopher Fadeley, Chief Technology Officer at EIZO Rugged Solutions, commented, “The Condor NVB XMC cards will be critical for the industry as they empower system integrators to rapidly bring both future and legacy platforms up to the most advanced NVIDIA AI architecture available without the need for any fundamental system redesign.
“We designed the Condor NVB series with a modular approach, offering SKUs optimized for both legacy systems with limited power budgets and PCIe bandwidth, as well as next-generation platforms that demand maximum throughput and high-speed data performance.”
The Condor NVB2000xX and Condor NVB500xX are designed to meet VITA 47.1 environmental specifications for temperature, shock, and vibration. Both XMC cards’ rear XMC pin-out is compatible with 3U VPX (VITA 46.9 x12d+x8d+24s), ensuring easy adoption into SOSA aligned and open-architecture platforms.
