VectorNav Technologies, a leader in inertial navigation systems (INS), has acquired a new 100,000-square-foot facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex to expand production and accelerate development of next-generation navigation solutions for unmanned systems.
This expansion comes as autonomous technologies rapidly evolve and their global adoption drives an increasing need for reliable, high-performance navigation across a broad spectrum of unmanned platforms.
As the demand for resilient Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) capabilities grows across both defense and commercial unmanned systems, VectorNav is investing in expanded infrastructure to support innovation, scale production, and advance modular, multi-layered navigation sensors. These sensors are designed to meet the diverse challenges of unmanned operations in complex environments, enabling enhanced mission performance and operational safety.
Building on more than 100,000 units produced in North Texas since 2008, VectorNav’s new facility leverages established manufacturing expertise, strong supply chains, and access to a skilled workforce. This strategic growth positions the company to lead in advancing navigation technologies that are critical to the next generation of unmanned systems worldwide.
