TEKEVER, a developer of advanced unmanned aerial systems (UAS), has formed a two-year partnership with IMSAR to integrate Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) technology into its drone platforms for enhanced surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities.
By combining TEKEVER’s UAS designs with IMSAR’s radar expertise, the partnership aims to deliver superior airborne ISR solutions for a wide range of missions.
Through this partnership, TEKEVER will assist IMSAR in refining radar capabilities and tactics based on valuable operational feedback, including lessons learned from the front lines in Ukraine. The collaboration will focus on optimizing the installation and software integration of IMSAR’s radar systems into both current and future TEKEVER UAS designs.
The agreement also includes a support package with preferred partner benefits and volume pricing options, along with a shared commitment to marketing the combined capabilities of TEKEVER and IMSAR.
A key feature of this collaboration will be the integration of IMSAR’s Lisa3D mission management suite with TEKEVER’s ATLAS web-based UAV Mission Enhancer. This synergy will provide operators with a streamlined, cohesive interface for maritime surveillance operations. IMSAR’s radar systems excel at wide-area vessel detection and moving target tracking over long standoff ranges, delivering precise targeting data to onboard sensors like electro-optical and infrared cameras. By tightly integrating these capabilities, TEKEVER’s UAS will expand their operational reach, optimize data collection, and improve surveillance capabilities across vast land and sea areas.
TEKEVER CEO, Ricardo Mendes, said, “The partnership with IMSAR is a game-changer, propelling us to the forefront of radar innovation. By combining IMSAR’s cutting-edge technology with our UAS capabilities, we’re pushing the boundaries of surveillance and reconnaissance missions and preparing for future radar integrations. This partnership also positions us to meet the growing demand for advanced solutions in complex and dynamic mission environments, such as military operations and border surveillance.”
The partnership builds upon a proven relationship between TEKEVER and IMSAR, highlighted by recent successful demonstrations of the NSP-5 Synthetic Aperture Radar integrated with TEKEVER’s AR5 UAS. These tests showcased the AR5’s enhanced target detection and extended electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) engagement times, setting a new benchmark for UAS performance in its class.
