Hargrave Technologies is launching the nanoDRIVE 4LPi, the company’s most advanced 4-in-1 electronic speed controller (ESC) designed specifically for high-volume unmanned aerial systems (UAS) operations.
The nanoDRIVE 4LPi is engineered to meet the demands of large-scale UAS deployments, offering reliability, performance, and value. Each unit is NDAA-compliant, designed and manufactured in Australia, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality and security.
Optimized for Scale
With pre-soldered capacitors, standard 30×30 mounting holes, multiple connector options, and flight computer configurability, the nanoDRIVE 4LPi is ready for seamless integration into high-volume production environments.
nanoDRIVE 4LPi has an 5V auxiliary power supply rail capable of powering a flight computer enabling easy UAV system design. For deeper integration and greater volumes, nanoDRIVE 4LPi is machine-mountable on a carrier PCB.
Rapid Response
Designed by pilots for pilots, the nanoDRIVE 4LPi boasts low input latency and rapid, linear ramp response, delivering class-leading agility and flight performance. Users can choose between Hargrave’s high-efficiency FOCAL algorithm and rapid-response Trapezoidal drive to achieve peak performance tailored to their specific needs.
Dual Input Capability with Fallback
Featuring an advanced input priority system, the nanoDRIVE 4LPi can receive two different input signals and automatically switch to a secondary input if the primary becomes unusable, adding a critical layer of reliability for demanding missions.
It supports DroneCAN, ARINC825, DShot, and PWM protocols, ensuring versatility across various platforms. The highly flexible 60+ configurable parameters and flight-computer direct firmware updates allows every ESC to be performing exactly as expected.
Advanced Features
nanoDRIVE 4LPi is packed with advanced features, including a 5V 2.5A BEC onboard, motor temperature protection, error-correcting memory, and advanced onboard diagnostics and self-testing.
Built upon Hargrave’s next-generation GateKEEPER core, the nanoDRIVE 4LPi highlights the companies’ comittment to delivering high-performance, robust motor controllers. It incorporates insights gained from years of developing ESCs for some of the most advanced unmanned vehicles worldwide.
