Hargrave Technologies, a company with over a decade of power electronics experience in motor controllers for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), has entered the smart power supply sector with its new microFLUX 4LP.
The microFLUX 4LP is the first product in the company’s new FLUX line and is described as a lightweight, low-power, four-channel smart power supply engineered for reliable performance and seamless integration. This solution is designed to meet the constantly evolving power demands of aircraft systems and fills a market gap for reliable, smart, Western-made power solutions.
Key features of the microFLUX 4LP include a configurable channel architecture supporting a mix of low and high voltage channels. Each channel offers digitally selectable output voltages across a range of commonly used voltages, which provides flexibility for various aircraft systems.
The unit also features real-time power monitoring and telemetry. Each channel independently monitors voltage, current, and power usage via DroneCAN, giving immediate insight into both individual and overall system health and performance.
Tony Bazouni, Director at Hargrave Technologies, commented, “microFLUX 4LP delivers power you can count on. Our customers need to deploy quickly while remaining flexible and confident in their UAS. microFLUX 4LP is engineered to remove the complex integration barriers to getting your aircraft flying quicker.”
Hargrave Technologies states that the microFLUX 4LP allows engineering teams to avoid months of custom hardware development to reach a minimum viable product. The power platform is built with high-quality components and includes advanced features such as error-correcting memory, high-speed circular data logging, and LED status indicators per channel and system-wide.
The FLUX line is planned to deliver a series of modular, smart power supplies capable of evolving with an aircraft.
Saami Bashar, Program Manager, Hargrave Technologies, stated, “The FLUX line will deliver a series of modular, smart power supplies capable of evolving with your aircraft.” Future units will offer varying channel counts and higher power outputs while sharing the same Western-made and NDAA-compliant pedigree.
The microFLUX 4LP is available now. It is designed to endure fracturing supply chains; it is NDAA-compliant by default, built with Western components, and manufactured entirely in Sydney, Australia.
