The microDRIVE LPi from Hargrave Technologies is a lightweight, integrable motor controller engineered for professional unmanned aircraft requiring compact propulsion electronics, flexible installation and advanced digital communications.

Designed around the company's GateKEEPER control platform, the unit combines a 15-60 V operating range with 60 A continuous current capability in a 34 g bare-board format, allowing OEMs to integrate high-performance motor control directly into custom airframes while tailoring cooling and mounting arrangements to their specific platform requirements. The controller supports DroneCAN as its primary interface alongside bidirectional DShot and PWM, enabling seamless integration with modern flight controllers while providing extensive configuration, firmware management and real-time telemetry.

Operators can configure more than 60 parameters through DroneCAN or USB, monitor voltage, current and RPM during flight, and access advanced diagnostic capabilities that assist with system validation and fleet maintenance. Additional features such as regenerative braking, onboard capacitor banks for extended input lead lengths, error-correcting memory, hardware self-testing and optional NDAA-compliant variants make the microDRIVE LPi well suited to next-generation UAV manufacturers seeking a highly integrated propulsion control solution.
