microDRIVE LP is a compact and lightweight drone motor controller that has been designed from the ground up around the DroneCAN specification, allowing for hassle-free integration into UAV platforms and making it easy to deploy at scale. Delivering powerful motor control capabilities in less than 100 grams, the versatile ESC enables you to choose between Hargrave's state-of-the-art high-efficiency FOCAL or rapid-response trapezoidal drive algorithms, allowing you to tailor the solution to your specific needs.
The highly flexible solution allows users to configure over 60 parameters and update firmware from the flight computer. Real-time telemetry allows you to monitor and capture critical data such as current, voltage, temperature and RPM, ensuring that issues can be spotted before serious problems occur. microDRIVE LP also provides a host of other advanced features including error-correcting memory, onboard diagnostics, and high-speed circular data logging with storage for up to 72 hours.
The rugged motor controller is IP67-rated for operation in harsh conditions from deserts to maritime environments, and has been designed with integrated thermal management. It can be optionally provided as a fully NDAA-compliant product for U.S. government and defense applications.
