Tronics Microsystems, a TDK Group Company and manufacturer of MEMS inertial sensors for industrial unmanned systems, has successfully passed the EN 9100 certification.

EN 9100 certification ensures Tronics’ processes are designed to guarantee its products’ reliability and stability. This reinforces the company’s commitment to high-quality development for unmanned aerial applications.

Additionally, the certification demonstrates Tronics’ ability to provide high performance MEMS inertial sensors for autonomous vehicles, advanced air mobility, avionics and space.

The EN 9100 certification further enhances the company’s quality system established on IATF16949 since 2018, and places Tronics as a manufacturer of inertial sensors with one of the highest quality standards.

Tronics assert that the certification reinforces the company’s contribution to the accomplishment of TDK quality goals, which are founded on the fundamental tenet of “Advance to Zero defects.”

This certification reaffirms Tronics’ dedication to provide tactical grade digital MEMS inertial sensors for aerospace and advanced air mobility applications. This includes flight control systems for airplanes, AHRS (Attitude and Heading Reference Systems) for helicopters and eVTOL (electrical Vertical Take-Off and Landing), as well as GNSS-assisted positioning for UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles).

Julien Bon, CEO, commented; “We are proud to announce that Tronics Microsystems has successfully achieved its compliance with the EN 9100 certification.

“This demonstrates our commitment to excellence and quality in all our products and services while participating in the accomplishment of TDK quality goals. We are constantly improving our processes to stay at the forefront of our industry and provide the best solutions to meet our customers’ needs.”

Didier Liu, Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Manager, added; “Since the acquisition of Tronics by TDK, we made strong improvements within our quality system.

“We are proud of this EN 9100 certification which comes in addition to our IATF16949, ISO50001, ISO45001 and ISO14001 certifications. We are committed to maintaining these high standards in all our interactions with our customers.”
