AXO®315T0 MEMS Accelerometer

The AXO®315T0 from Tronics Microsystems is a ruggedized, single-axis MEMS accelerometer designed to deliver unwavering performance in extreme thermal and vibratory environments typical of oil and gas exploration.

Offering a full-scale range of ±14 g and an operational ceiling of +150 °C, this hermetically sealed sensor replaces bulky quartz devices with a compact, cost-efficient alternative tailored for precision inclination measurements in Measurement While Drilling (MWD) and Logging While Drilling (LWD) systems. Its closed-loop digital architecture ensures ultra-low bias instability (3 μg at room temperature), high vibration immunity, and stable performance over extended high-temperature exposure.

Engineered for harsh subterranean operations, the AXO®315T0 features a 24-bit digital SPI interface, continuous built-in self-testing, and full compliance with REACH and RoHS directives. The sensor maintains long-term stability with less than 0.8 mg of residual bias error across the temperature spectrum, while sustaining >1000 hours of continuous use at 150 °C.

With 150 Hz bandwidth and only 2 ms latency, the AXO®315T0 excels in high-shock, high-vibration conditions, making it an indispensable component for enhancing drilling accuracy, improving tool reliability, and minimizing operational downtime in demanding energy sector deployments.
