Aero Tec Laboratories (ATL) has manufactured specialized flexible fuel bladder tanks for Brontanax, an autonomous Collaborative Combat Aircraft unveiled by BAE Systems at the Farnborough International Airshow.
Engineered at ATL’s facility in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, the lightweight fuel storage solutions are designed to support the uncrewed aircraft’s demanding mission requirements as it progresses through testing and development.
Brontanax combines autonomous flight, modular design, and an open-system architecture intended to enable rapid technology integration and operation alongside crewed fighter aircraft. The programme includes contributions from more than 75 UK companies and supports the development of adaptable next-generation air combat capabilities.
