Pelican’s 1535 Air Case provides the protective transport solution used by Neox Computers for its compact, custom-built computer systems. Read more >>
Fitted with a custom foam insert, the case enables systems configured with NVIDIA RTX 5090 or RTX 6000 PRO graphics cards to be transported while remaining within carry-on size limits.
Neox Computers develops compact computer systems that combine performance, aesthetics, and functionality. Designed to deliver high computing performance within a form factor that fits in overhead storage, these systems require a protective solution that supports transport without compromising portability.
Protection Requirements for Portable Computing Systems
Neox Computers required a compact case capable of protecting sensitive computer systems from physical and environmental damage while maintaining a space-efficient design.
Because many customers choose these systems for their portability, the transport solution also needed to be lightweight, durable, and suitable for carry-on travel, allowing the systems to fit in overhead bins.
Pelican 1535 Air Case for Portable Deployment
To meet these requirements, Neox Computers deploys its computer systems in the Pelican 1535 Air Case. The case features a lightweight yet durable exterior, rubber overmold handles for improved grip, and carry-on compatible dimensions.
The workstation can be taken from the case to full operation in less than five minutes, providing teams with high computing performance in a portable format.
Custom Foam Insert Secures Equipment During Transit
Neox Computers designed a custom foam insert for the Pelican 1535 Air Case using compression fit to lock the workstation in place during transport.
The insert also incorporates handhold cutouts for rapid deployment and dedicated pockets for cables and accessories, allowing the complete system to be transported within a single case.
Supporting Worldwide Deployment
More than 50 Neox Computers systems have been deployed worldwide using the Pelican 1535 Air Case and custom foam inserts. According to Neox Computers, not a single instance of damage has been reported during travel, including under demanding transport conditions.
