The Volz Servos DA 20-TS actuator combines the proven mechanical design of the DA 20-T with the RS-485 electronics architecture of the DA 26. It integrates a digital serial command interface that operates via a CRC-secured protocol, enabling reliable data communication and command execution. Alongside shaft position reporting, the actuator can transmit diagnostic parameters including supply voltage, current consumption, and internal temperature. An optional sensor configuration also allows monitoring of relative humidity inside the actuator housing.
These diagnostic capabilities provide valuable operational data before, during, and after missions, supporting condition assessment and system reliability checks. The DA 20-TS retains the established mechanical structure of the DA 20-T series and incorporates optionally redundant electronics for applications requiring enhanced reliability.
