The Volz Servos DA 20 actuator combines robust construction with programmable control for use in UAV and related uncrewed applications. Its housing is formed from CNC-machined aluminum die-cast components with a fiberglass-reinforced lower casing, providing both structural rigidity and effective heat dissipation. The actuator employs a full steel gear train for high durability and can be configured via Volz’s software tool for customized control behavior and parameter tuning.
Multiple DA 20 variants are available to match different load and response requirements. The DA 20-06-2505 provides increased service life and load capacity at a reduced operating speed, while other versions extend performance to higher voltages. Optional configurations include the ISS gear protection system, analog position feedback, and an increased actuator travel range up to 330°, providing flexibility for integration across diverse UAV platforms and control systems.
