The Volz Servos DA 15-N.ISS actuator is derived from the proven DA 15-N series and integrates the Internal Servo Saver (ISS) system, a mechanical gear protection mechanism that safeguards the gear set from radial shock loads exceeding predefined limits. This feature makes the DA 15-N.ISS suitable for demanding UAV operations where high shock resistance and mechanical endurance are required.
The actuator’s brushless motor and contactless position sensing system eliminate wear and ensure resistance to vibration and impact. Its conductive aluminum housing and shielded connection cable minimize susceptibility to electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. The DA 15-N.ISS is fully programmable and supports PWM, RS-485, and CAN interfaces. Optional configurations include extended travel up to 340°, position feedback devices, and customized case options, enabling integration across a variety of mission-critical platforms.
