The Volz Servos DA 15-N-HT actuator is a high-endurance brushless actuator developed for UAV and safety-critical systems operating in harsh environments. Based on the DA 15-N platform, it employs the same core components with an added gear stage that increases the gear ratio and output torque. The actuator’s brushless DC motor and contactless position sensing technology eliminate wear mechanisms, providing immunity to vibration and shock while ensuring long service life. Endurance testing has demonstrated operation exceeding 4,000 hours under load.
Constructed with a conductive, saltwater-resistant aluminum housing, the DA 15-N-HT minimizes susceptibility to EMI and RFI interference. The actuator is fully sealed to the IP67 standard and supplied with a shielded connection cable. Standard functionality includes position, temperature, and current feedback, while optional configurations allow ISS gear protection, extended travel up to 330°, position feedback devices, RS-485 protocol support, and customized housings.
