applications. Building on the DA 13, the DA 14 features an improved housing design that is fully sealed to meet the IP67 standard, providing protection against dust and temporary water immersion down to one meter. Its carbon fiber reinforced plastic casing increases torsional rigidity, electromagnetic shielding, and mechanical durability while maintaining a low weight suited to airborne systems.
The DA 14 actuator incorporates a full steel gear train and is supplied in two case configurations: Version A for direct installation and Version B for mounting with rubber grommets. Optional features include analog position feedback and a MIL-specified connector. The DA 14-05-32 variant offers a high-speed response with a reduced gear ratio for lightweight control surfaces, while the DA 14-05-60 version delivers higher torque within the same compact format. The DA 14 series has been successfully implemented across a range of unmanned aerial platforms.
