The DA 13 from Volz Servos is a compact 13 mm actuator engineered for micro UAVs, robotic systems, and miniature medical mechanisms. Operating at 5 VDC with a rated current of 0.3 A and peak current of 0.9 A, it combines robust performance with energy efficiency in space-limited applications. The all-steel gear train ensures long-term reliability under demanding loads, while integrated lug mounts enable rapid horizontal or vertical installation.
Featuring a PWM interface and full programmability through Volz’s configuration tool, the actuator also offers optional analog position feedback for precise closed-loop control. Variants include the DA 13-05-32 high-speed model (>600°/s) and the DA 13-05-60 high-torque version delivering 30 N cm.
