SPRINT-Nav Mini combines inertial, Doppler, attitude, and depth sensors into a single compact unit, delivering high-performance navigation and control for AUVs, ROVs, and USVs. Designed as a complete subsea navigation solution, it replaces four separate instruments, reducing cabling, cost, and integration time. Built on Sonardyne’s hybrid acoustic–inertial technology, it provides reliable positioning and motion data even in GNSS-denied environments and around offshore structures. Measuring only 213 mm in height and 148 mm in diameter, it is light, rugged, and ready to deploy for inspection, survey, or research operations.
Pre-calibrated for instant use, SPRINT-Nav Mini requires no in-field alignment. Its true-north-seeking gyrocompass and 500 kHz DVL deliver accurate heading, attitude, and velocity data, maintaining bottom lock at up to 200 meters altitude. Capable of outputting up to 200 updates per second with 0.05% distance-traveled accuracy, it ensures continuous, stable navigation in challenging underwater environments. Available in 300-meter acetal or 4,000-meter titanium versions, with a side-connector option for tight installations, SPRINT-Nav Mini provides a perfect balance of capability, compactness, and affordability for marine robotics.
