BlueComm 200 is an advanced optical communication system designed to deliver ultra-fast, wireless subsea data transfer for AUVs, ROVs, and USVs. Using LED-based optical transmission and photomultiplier tube detection, it achieves data rates between 2.5 and 10 Mbps at distances up to 150 meters, enabling real-time video streaming, control, and data exchange. Optimized for low-light or deep-water conditions, BlueComm 200 transforms short-range subsea communication by providing transfer speeds thousands of times faster than traditional acoustic systems while maintaining reliable performance to depths of 4,000 meters.
Available in two configurations, BlueComm 200 is ideal for operations in dark or deep environments requiring high bandwidth, while the BlueComm 200 UV variant offers dependable performance in illuminated areas or when using artificial light. Both models provide exceptional energy efficiency, capable of transferring more than nine gigabytes of data on a single Lithium D cell. With its separate emitter and receiver design, BlueComm 200 ensures stable, interference-free transmission for mission-critical applications across autonomous, crewed, and hybrid marine systems.
