MetaCam Lite is a handheld professional-grade scanning unit developed for accurate short- and medium-range measurement. Its purpose-built non-repetitive LiDAR uses a smaller laser spot and optimized calibration to reduce point distortion and corner noise at the source.
The 216,000 points/sec sensor captures a 360-degree horizontal and 65-degree vertical field of view, including 20 degrees of downward coverage. A minimum range of 5 cm enables detailed capture close to the scanner.
AI-driven SOTA-SLAM algorithms generate accurate and stable spatial results throughout the scan, and the unit’s two 48 MP panoramic cameras add full-color visual context. Smart scan resumption allows longer projects to continue across several sessions without restarting the survey.
