Sky-Watch’s RQ-35 Heidrun is a lightweight and compact fixed-wing mini-UAS designed to provide superior data-gathering for mission-critical military and defense operations such as ISR, force protection, and tactical terrain mapping. With a class-leading mission endurance of up to 15 minutes, it is highly resilient even in the face of electronic warfare and GPS-denied conditions.
The hand-launched system requires a minimal logistical footprint, and can be rapidly deployed and operated by a single user. The highly portable UAS can be carried in either a backpack or robust carrying case, and includes a portable tablet-based Ground Control Station (GCS) with comprehensive Drone Manager software.
The versatile RQ-35 Heidrun offers a carrying capacity of up to 500 grams, and can be equipped with interchangeable gimbal payloads. Built-in camera-centric control allows the pilot to maneuver and manage missions directly through the live video feed, and also allows for high-precision deep stall landings on a specific target.
