The open-loop fiber optic gyro VG1703SPE is a unique combination of a very small (∅40 x 12 mm) and lightweight (18 gram) design and super low power consumption of just 0.25W. Being also extremely cost-effective, this FOG sensor features industry-leading CSWaP (cost, size, weight, power) characteristics which make it an ideal solution for UAVs, drones and robotics. Like all MostaTech gyroscopes this miniature unit contains fully integrated optics and electronics.
In addition, the gyroscope VG1703SPE offers an extended MTBF of 30 years.
