Sapphire Optical Windows
Meller Optics sapphire windows rank 9 on the Mohs scale, giving them a hardness that is second only to diamond. Providing robust protection against fast moving dirt, sand, and saltwater, they can be enhanced with multi-spectral anti-reflective coatings that can meet salt fog requirements.
The windows are available in three quality grades to suit a variety of needs:
- Standard – low-cost option ideal for high-volume applications
- Superior – for more demanding applications where image quality and minimizing birefringence effects are important
- High-Precision – for critical optical and laser applications
Diameter, thickness and orientation can be customized to your specifications.
