Lavionic GmbH is an aviation engineering and software company based in Munich, Germany, founded in 2021 by an airworthiness engineer. It builds software for the regulated side of aviation: compliance, certification, safety assessment, quality and maintenance.

Lavionic’s flagship product, Wingman360 Teammate, is an AI assistant for aviation compliance and certification work. Wingman360 Teammate answers questions from an organisation’s own approved documents and from the applicable regulations, with the paragraph each answer came from cited.

The corpus is curated by the organisation’s administrators: nothing enters it without human approval, and users cannot change it. It drafts the documents authorities ask for, including certification-basis compliance matrices, JARUS SORA assessments, functional hazard assessments, UAS operations manuals, expositions and audit responses, for review and signature by the responsible engineer.

Wingman360 Teammate runs in a dedicated environment per customer, either as a private cloud instance or fully inside the customer’s own infrastructure, including air-gapped installations with a local model and no external model API.

Wingman360 Teammate helps aviation teams work with approved organisational documents and applicable regulations. It answers questions with citations to the source paragraph, giving engineers a way to check the information behind each response.

Administrators control which manuals, records and regulatory documents enter the knowledge base. Users can consult that approved material but cannot alter the corpus. This supports work against the document revisions selected by the organisation.

The platform can draft certification-basis compliance matrices, JARUS SORA assessments, functional hazard assessments, ConOps, operations manuals, exposition amendments and audit responses. It can also help teams compare documents with requirements and identify gaps for review. The responsible engineer reviews and approves the output before it is issued.

Wingman360 Teammate is available as a dedicated private cloud deployment or within a customer’s own infrastructure. An on-premise installation can use a local model for air-gapped operation, with no external model calls.
