Spotter is a compact, purpose-built robotics platform for developing AI-enabled and autonomous aerial, ground, and maritime systems. Built around the Qualcomm® Dragonwing™ QCS6490 SoC and Open-Q™ 6490CS SOM, the 42 × 120 mm platform combines up to 12.5 TOPS of AI processing with vision, sensor, vehicle-control, and high-speed communications interfaces. Dual MIPI CSI camera connections with C-PHY and D-PHY support sit alongside analog/CVBS video, Ethernet, USB, GPIO, SPI, I²C, and UART, enabling a single embedded platform to support perception, navigation, inspection, surveillance, telemetry, and external payload integration.
Designed specifically for mobile robotics and drone development, Spotter brings compute and vehicle-control functions into a tightly integrated architecture rather than relying on a general-purpose development kit. Configurations can include an STM32H7-class flight or vehicle controller together with dual IMUs, a compass, and a barometer, while Qualcomm Linux supports long-term deployment requirements. With up to 8 GB LPDDR5 memory and 64 GB eMMC storage, Spotter gives OEM development teams a compact foundation for reducing integration work, advancing proofs of concept, and progressing autonomous system designs toward production.
