Fibreworks produces custom hatches, covers and fairings for UAV access points, control systems, payloads and other externally mounted equipment. Components can be manufactured from carbon- or glass-fiber composites and designed around the required aerodynamic profile, airframe geometry and mounting interfaces. Sealing and thermal-management requirements can also be incorporated into the customer specification.
Programs are available as build-to-specification, build-to-print or reverse-engineering projects. Fibreworks can manufacture finished fairings, skins and spars for Group 4 and 5 UAS, as well as hatches and control surfaces for smaller platforms. Production can range from prototypes and replacement parts to higher-volume manufacturing, with machining, painting and finishing carried out in-house.
