The Phantom 2 UUV/AUV from Dynautics is a next-generation modular underwater platform engineered to accommodate a wide range of payloads and mission requirements. Building on the success of the original Phantom Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV), this new model integrates Dynautics’ proven autopilot and Dynamic Positioning (DP) technologies to deliver precise control and reliability in complex marine environments.
Developed using 3D modelling and digital twin creation, along with Dynautics’ AUV Simulator technology, the Phantom II provides a scalable solution that minimises development risk and shortens time to deployment. It supports flexible payload configurations for different subsea applications, with positioning achieved through ultrasound communication or dead reckoning. The Phantom II enables low-impact, cost-efficient subsea operations, offering a versatile platform for a range of underwater tasks.
