The TT-RR1 Remote ID Module incorporates the OEM TT-RR and OEM TT-RRn transceivers, providing a compact solution for remote drone identification and localization in accordance with ASTM and ASD-STAN Remote ID requirements. Designed for integration into unmanned aircraft systems, the module utilizes BLE broadcasting together with WiFi NAN and Beacon technologies to enable identification of drones and their operators through widely available mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. An integrated multi-GNSS receiver and barometric altitude sensor support accurate positioning and altitude reporting, delivering the data required for compliant Remote ID operation.
Engineered for OEM integration, the transceivers feature RF signal power and quality analysis capabilities, a high-speed UART interface, and straightforward configuration via AT commands. Additional hardware interfaces allow developers to adapt firmware functionality and implement application-specific features beyond standard Remote ID requirements. As airspace authorities continue to adopt Remote Identification frameworks, Aerobits’ OEM transceiver technology provides manufacturers and system integrators with a flexible platform for implementing identification, localization, and operator awareness functions across professional unmanned systems.
