UMag Solutions will highlight its airborne quantum magnetic sensing technology for Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) and naval Mine Countermeasure (MCM) operations at EURONAVAL 2026, taking place from 3-6 November at Paris Nord Villepinte, France.
Designed for integration with unmanned aerial platforms, the company’s magnetic sensing systems identify magnetic anomalies associated with submarines, naval mines and other submerged threats. The technology enables naval operators to conduct wide-area surveys from the air, including in challenging sea conditions, while reducing the need to deploy personnel directly into potentially hazardous environments.
At Booth H73, UMag Solutions will present two systems, FastMag® and V2Mag®, designed for different maritime detection applications.
FastMag® supports high-speed ASW and open-sea naval mine detection, enabling rapid, wide-area surveys with real-time detection reporting. The system is designed to identify submarines and other submerged threats from airborne platforms, supporting maritime surveillance and MCM operations.
V2Mag® provides high-sensitivity magnetic sensing for naval mine detection in coastal waters, harbours and other maritime environments. The drone-mounted system can detect moored, bottom and buried mines, providing real-time location data to support MCM and clearance activities.
Visitors to EURONAVAL 2026 can meet UMag Solutions at Booth H73 to learn more about its airborne magnetic sensing technology for detecting underwater targets.
