Gremsy USA and Fadron have announced the successful integration of Gremsy USA’s LYNX NDAA payload with Fadron’s Nimbus long-range VTOL Unmanned Aerial System (UAS), expanding access to a lightweight, NDAA-compliant aerial imaging solution for ISR and public safety operations in the North American market.
As demand for trusted and compliant unmanned systems continues to grow across North America, NDAA compliance has become an important consideration for government agencies, public safety organizations, system integrators, and programs subject to U.S. federal procurement requirements. The integration brings together Fadron’s long-endurance Nimbus platform with Gremsy USA’s ultra compact camera payload imaging technology, providing operators with enhanced day-and-night situational awareness while supporting evolving compliance requirements.
LYNX NDAA Meets Nimbus Recon
Nimbus is Fadron’s long-range VTOL platform designed to combine vertical takeoff and landing flexibility with fixed-wing endurance. Its Nimbus Recon configuration is purpose-built for ISR applications, offering up to four hours of operation with a second battery, multi-link communications across RF, cellular, satellite and SDR, as well as onboard AI detection and tracking capabilities.
Integrated into Nimbus, LYNX NDAA adds a compact stabilized EO/IR imaging capability to the platform. Weighing approximately 190 grams, LYNX NDAA combines visible and thermal imaging in an ultra compact form factor, with a FLIR Boson 640 radiometric thermal sensor and capabilities designed to support continuous situational awareness across day, night and low-visibility environments.
The result is an integrated aerial solution suited to applications such as ISR, public safety, border monitoring, search and rescue, and persistent situational awareness, where endurance, imaging performance and platform efficiency are critical.

Built for Trusted Operations
Both organizations have placed compliance and platform interoperability at the center of the integration. Nimbus Recon is available from Fadron in an NDAA-compliant configuration, while LYNX NDAA has achieved Blue List status and is part of Gremsy USA’s portfolio of compliant imaging payloads.
By integrating LYNX NDAA with Nimbus, Gremsy USA and Fadron provide system integrators and operators with a ready-to-deploy combination of long-endurance VTOL performance, stabilized EO/IR imaging, onboard intelligence, and NDAA-compliant technology.
“The successful integration of LYNX NDAA with Nimbus demonstrates exactly what LYNX was designed for – bringing advanced EO/IR capability to platforms where size, weight, endurance and trusted technology all matter,” said Ryan Le, CEO of Gremsy USA. “Together with Fadron, we are expanding the options available to operators looking for compact, high-performance aerial intelligence solutions for ISR and public safety missions.”
Expanding Access in North America
The collaboration also supports Gremsy USA’s continued expansion in North America, bringing LYNX NDAA to customers seeking ultra compact camera payload capabilities for trusted unmanned platforms. Through the integration with Nimbus, customers can access a complete UAV and imaging solution designed around long-endurance operations, real-time intelligence, and flexible deployment across demanding ISR and public safety applications.
