Recent actions outlined in a White House fact sheet establish tariffs on certain imported drones and components while creating a framework to support new domestic manufacturing investment. The associated proclamation identifies reliance on foreign sources for critical Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) components as a national security and cybersecurity concern and describes drones as critical to present and future U.S. military operations.
