AI-first software company Gambit has been selected as one of the initial recipients of a prototype Other Transaction Authority agreement under the SwarmForge program.
The partnership brings the software developer together with the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office and U.S. Army Special Operations Command. Under the effort, the project targets the advancement of mission-level coordination and orchestration across diverse autonomous platforms operating in complex, contested environments.
By integrating Gambit’s AI software, heterogeneous autonomous systems are enabled to function as a unified, coordinated force rather than as isolated assets. This capability is designed to maintain complex mission execution even when operating within communications-degraded and GPS-denied environments.

Utilizing the OTA framework provides a rapid prototyping structure and allows for close collaboration alongside CDAO and USASOC. This setup supports both the development and practical evaluation of autonomous capabilities under realistic operational conditions.
