Multinational advanced autonomous systems leader TEKEVER has officially expanded into the United States with the opening of a North Carolina office alongside its participation in SOF Week 2026.
The new Fayetteville location will serve as a strategic hub for technical support, coordination, and daily engagement with US-based partners. By establishing this local presence, the company aims to enhance its responsiveness to the evolving operational requirements of the US market. The facility ensures that TEKEVER’s intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, search and rescue (ISR/SAR) capabilities are backed by dedicated, in-country expertise. This development marks a significant milestone in the company’s global growth strategy, positioning it close to major US defense innovation hubs and operational end users.
Following the office opening, TEKEVER is set to showcase its approach to AI-driven autonomous systems at SOF Week 2026 in Tampa, Florida, from 18-21 May. Representatives will be present to engage with attendees on how the company’s capabilities can support the evolving operational needs of the US market.
As part of its commitment to transatlantic defense innovation, the company will be present at the NATO DIANA booth, located at Booth 2611 on Level 1 of the Tampa Convention Centre. This collaboration underscores the company’s position within the global defense ecosystem and its focus on equipping special operations forces with the tools required for modern, data-driven security environments.
Paulo Ferro, TEKEVER VP of Strategic Development, commented, “Opening our first US office is an important step in strengthening our support for end users and partners in the United States. Being closer to the people who operate, assess, and sustain these systems enables stronger collaboration, faster responsiveness, and more effective long-term support. Our presence at SOF Week reflects that same commitment: to stay close to operational needs, engage directly with the community, and continue building relationships that support future collaboration.”
This expansion into North Carolina follows a period of rapid international growth for the company. TEKEVER currently operates facilities across the UK, Portugal, France, and Ukraine. The company now employs more than 1,300 people globally, a workforce that includes several hundred specialists in engineering, artificial intelligence, and data science.
