CENTUM received the Innovation Spotlight Award at Commercial UAV Expo 2025, recognizing its product Lifeseeker as the most impactful technology among 23 solutions in the commercial drone sector.
Earlier this summer, 23 products were shortlisted for the Innovation Spotlight competition, representing both hardware and software innovations across industries such as public safety, surveying, delivery, and security. More than 1,200 votes were cast by professionals throughout the commercial drone industry to determine which technologies are having the greatest influence.
From this competitive field, Lifeseeker was selected as the winning solution. Designed for Search and Rescue missions, Lifeseeker enables UAVs to locate missing people through their mobile phones, including in areas without network coverage. By turning mobile phones into emergency beacons, the system helps rescue teams reduce mission times and risks.
