2. Tulip Tech Extends Autonomous Drone Missions with Lithium Metal Technology

Tulip Tech has partnered with Tective to enhance the performance of the fully autonomous ReFly drone by integrating Tulip Tech’s advanced Lithium Metal battery technology. This upgrade extends flight time from 35 minutes to 75 minutes, more than a 100% increase.

The Tective ReFly Drone is a lightweight quadcopter designed for autonomous intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. Its compact design and rapid battery swap system, enabling replacements in under a minute, allow for near-continuous operation with minimal downtime.

3. Textron USV Demonstrates MUM-T Capability in FLEX25 Exercise

Textron Systems demonstrated advanced manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T) capabilities using its autonomous TSUNAMI™ vessel during the Hybrid Fleet Campaign Event FLEX25 in El Salvador, an event focused on contemporary counter-narcotics operations.

During FLEX25, Textron Systems supported the U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) and operated alongside regional partners, including the Salvadoran Navy, to demonstrate the operational readiness of next-generation unmanned platforms in real-world maritime scenarios.

4. UAVOS’ Rotor Blades Complete Advanced Overload & Environmental Testing

UAVOS collaborated with the ALTER Technology TÜV NORD S.A.U team to complete overload and environmental testing of helicopter rotor blades for UAVOS’ rotorcraft platforms.

The overload test campaign consisted of simulated centrifugal loads above the nominal operational limit of 7,390 N (753.32 kg) and a dynamometer measurement of 389 N (39.65 kg). This reinforced the rotor blades’ structural integrity under extreme stress, resistance to deformation and reliability of materials and manufacturing quality.
