Heven AeroTech has reached a significant operational milestone through the acquisition of Zepher Flight Labs and a new manufacturing partnership with Mach Industries.
Zepher Flight Labs is recognized for engineering lightweight, field-repairable Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) drone systems designed for real-world durability. The integration of the Zepher team is intended to expand Heven’s technical capabilities, specifically regarding speed, reliability, and modularity. This move complements Heven’s existing hydrogen-first approach and focus on long endurance and fast deployment for unmanned systems.
The engineering innovations brought by Zepher are expected to strengthen solutions across several sectors, including defense, commercial operations, and emergency response missions. By prioritizing modular platform architecture and field operability, the combined teams aim to deliver systems designed specifically for the needs of the operator.
In tandem with this acquisition, Heven is scaling the production of its hydrogen-powered drone systems, including the H100, H2D55, and Raider models. This scaling will be facilitated through a partnership with Mach Industries, a leader in next-generation defense manufacturing. Production will take place at the Mach Industries facility in Huntington Beach, California, utilizing their Forge platform.
Mach Industries provides a vertically integrated, United States-based supply chain. This infrastructure is designed to enable rapid and secure production while reducing reliance on foreign components. Establishing a resilient manufacturing ecosystem close to the core customer base is a primary objective of the collaboration.
These strategic developments signal a new phase of growth for Heven, focused on meeting the increasing demand for high-performance Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). The company remains dedicated to delivering mission-ready systems at record speed for complex operations.
